Brit Jonno Davies plays Robbie and was seen on set in full CGI gear

The singer, 48, spoke as actors playing his former Take That bandmates were snapped during filming in Australia wearing devil-inspired costumes, including capes and horns.

Dad-of-four Robbie told fans during a question and answer session in Melbourne that the movie, Better Man, will be “warts and all”.

It is being shot by Aussie director Michael Gracey, who was behind 2017 hit The Greatest Showman, with Robbie playing himself in later years.

He said: “There are sex scenes that I do not condone. I am like, ‘If they must be in there, Michael, then you put them in there.’

“He said that it is a necessity for the script that I get completely naked and I am not sure why as there is one scene where we are in a church and it does not call for it.

“It is my life and it is what I got up to. It is not anodyne, it is not vanilla. It is drugs, the ups, the downs, the women, the sex.”

Robbie — wed to Loose Women panellist Ayda Field, 42 — added of their kids: “They are not going to know anything about this film. They can’t see it as I will have a lot of things to answer for.

“If they do I will be like, ‘None of that happened. It is the magic of the movies. It’s not a documentary’.”
