Peter Kay set to RETURN to the stage as comic pal Jason Manford tells fans to ‘keep an eye out’ for new tour
PETER Kay could be set for an epic return to the stage - five years after cancelling his UK tour.
His comic pal Jason Manford has told fans to "keep an eye out" for news the star will make a stand-up comeback.
It would be Peter's first tour in a decade after he cancelled his 2018 stint on stage due to "unforeseen family circumstances".
Jason, 40, who first met his northern pal 25 years ago, told Dublin radio station FM104's Strawberry Alarm Clock show: "He's great, Pete. We've known each other a long time, it must be 25 years. It's been a hell of a ride.
"He's just an absolute legend isn't he? What a treasure.
"Hopefully back himself soon, doing stand-up, so keep your eye out for his tour.
