The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration line-up: Who is performing for the show on ITV ahead of four-day bank holiday
HER Majesty's Platinum Jubilee celebrations kick off tonight with a special star-studded event on ITV.
Taking place at Windsor Castle, The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration will have celebrities perform along with thousands of people.
Who is in the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration line-up?
Phillip Schofield and Julie Etchingham will host The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration which will be broadcast live on ITV tonight.
The theatrical arena event will include 1300 performers and 500 horses.
It is made up of four acts, each overseen by a different event host.
The Celebration is a journey through history, starting with the reign of Queen Elizabeth I right through to the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, culminating in a grand finale.

Each act will reflect on key moments in history including Elizabeth I’s Tilbury Speech, and James I and the Gunpowder Plot.
Dame Helen Mirren
Dame Helen Mirren is set to star as Queen Elizabeth I, while the cast of the Queen's Players will be welcomed by The Herald, played by Omid Djalili.
The Herald will act as a narrator, whisking viewers through time.
His presence will link the acts together, narrating and anchoring the stories, and making light of some of the absurdities history presents us with.
Dame Helen is usually known for playing Queen Elizabeth II as she won an Oscar for her title role in the 2006 movie The Queen.
The actress then played Her Majesty again in the West End and on Broadway, in a show called The Audience.

Award-winning singer Gregory Porter will sing a medley of his most famous songs on the Platinum Jubilee stage.
Gregory won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2014 for Liquid Spirit and in 2017 for Take Me To The Alley.
Liquid Spirit was unusually successful for a jazz album, and was certified gold by the BPI - selling over 100,000 units in the UK.
He has been described as "a jazz singer of thrilling presence, a booming baritone with a gift for earthy refinement and soaring uplift."
Katherine Jenkins
Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins will also perform for the Queen.
She has become the nation's sweetheart and regularly performs for army troops and also big sporting events thanks to her strong vocals.
Katherine has been in the limelight since 2000 when she shot to fame and was signed to Universal Classics for a six-album deal with £1million.
Since then, Katherine has seen six out of seven of her studio albums reach No1 in the UK classical charts, selling a total of more than four million copies.
Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber
West End musical master Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber will also pay tribute to the Queen.
It is not known yet what his performance will involve, but it will no doubt include some of his biggest shows.
Lord Webber has had huge success in the West End and on Broadway with shows like Cats, Evita, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
His latest show on the West End, Cinderella, closed recently much to the cast's surprise and sadness.
Ant & Dec
Dynamic duo Ant and Dec are also joining the celebrations, although their exact roles have not been revealed yet.
Ant and Dec have had an incredible career, which has seen them climb to the top and become ITV's highest paid earners.
The Geordie duo shot to fame on kids show Byker Grove in the early 90s, and have never looked back.
Tom Cruise
Hollywood actor Tom Cruise will appear for this special event commemorating the Queen.
He is one of the four event hosts who will be introducing the performers, alongside Philip and Julie who will host the whole event.
The Hollywood actor shot to fame in the 80s in films Top Gun and Cocktail.
These days Tom is best known for the Mission Impossible franchise.

Numerous famous names and faces will be the nation entertained during the royal celebrations.

When does the performance start on ITV?
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will be broadcast live from the private grounds of Windsor Castle.
It will kick off tonight (Sunday, May 15, 2022) at 8pm, and will run until 10.40pm.

Four-day bank holiday celebrations
