The X Factor’s Louis Walsh picks his Six Chair Challenge Groups to take to Judges’ Houses

Sam, Skarl3t, Four Of Diamonds, The Brooks, Ottavio and Bradley, plus, Tom and Laura have to impress him all over again

THE X Factor’s Louis Walsh has chosen his Six Chair Challenge Groups to take to her Judges’ House to fight for their place in the live shows.

Sam, Skarl3t, Four Of Diamonds, The Brooks, Ottavio and Bradley, plus, Tom and Laura all made it through and will be jetting off to Ibiza.

But they won’t have time to fit in any clubbing in the infamous party resort as they must now work hard to impress the music manager again as they perform for him, plus, 2015 X Factor runner-up Fleur East and Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, who will help Louis chose his three finalists.

Louis Walsh has chosen his groups to go through to Judges’ Houses

Tonight saw the 11 Groups left in the competition after last week’s Bootcamp, take to the stage at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London.

And inevitably, five were left devastated as they were replaced on their chairs by the final six.

Indecisive Lou-Lou did himself no favours by awarding a seat to everyone at first which later led to a major headache.

Kicking off proceedings were Irish boyband Everyday Solution who cinched it with their rendition of Oasis’ Stop Crying Your Heart Out.

Next to land a seat were 17-year-old twins Kyle and Josh aka The Brooks.

‘I love you’… Louis Walsh admitted that Ottavio and Bradley wouldn’t be to everyone’s liking, but he was a fan and told them to take a seat

Tom and Laura… Simon said they were like ‘bread and butter’ while Nicole compared them to Sonny and Cher

The Cardiff duo nabbed a place after delivering their take on Queen’s Who Wants To Live Forever.

Despite initially earning a place with their own rendition of Queen’s Who Wants To Live Forever, Kay Leigh And Stefan were replaced by Liverpool duo Tom and Laura.

Louis was impressed by their delivery of Candi’s Young Hearts Run Free.

It was a ‘yes’ to 4 Of Diamonds who Louis hailed as “solid” after they hit it out of the ballpark with Jamelia’s Stop.

Although he had earlier raved about Ottavio and Bradley, even they were not safe as he opted to replace them with boyband Yes Lad.

While Louis was sold, Simon branded Yes Lad as an ‘old fashioned boyband’

The boybands appeared to be on a role with No Getaway claiming the place of Everyday Solution after wowing with Ariana Grande’s One Last Time.

It was at this point that the other judges felt it necessary to have word in Louis’ ear and suggest that his category wasn’t diverse enough.

Taking their comments on-board, not only did he decide to bring back Ottavio and Bradley and bump off Yes Lad.

That wasn’t the only u-turn Louis made on the night.

Although originally a ‘no’ to Girl Next Door who bombed with him after performing One Direction’s Drag Me Down, he later invited them back on stage where they were given No Getaway’s seat.

Skarl3t threw a spanner in the works with Louis realising couldn’t have three girlgroups

If that wasn’t enough drama for viewers, urban girlband Skarl3t threw a further spanner in the works by blowing the mind of everyone with their gutsy take on Jessie J’s Bang Bang.

Louis found himself in a dilemma lamenting that he couldn’t have three girlbands.

With a heavy heart he made the decision to dash the hopes and dreams of Girl Next Door yet again and gave Skarl3t their place.

The X Factor continues next Saturday at 7pm on ITV1.
