Jo's friends and followers rushed to send well-wishes to Lenny, with her former S Club 7 bandmate Rachel Stevens writing: "Aww happy birthday to your gorgeous boy❤️."

Actress Danniella Westbrook added: "So cute happy birthday Lenny x."

Jo, who shares Lenny with her ex Bill Slate, previously opened up to The Sun about co-parenting her son.

She said: "Things have always been very easy and amicable.

"We’ve always had quite a united front as far as Lenny’s concerned, and he’s a fantastic dad.

"He’s in a new relationship and he’s happy and she’s lovely – I get along with her.

"I think it’s nice for Lenny. I don’t want to be those feuding parents."

Jo, who last year released her second solo album With Love, also opened up about the prospect of reuniting with her S Club bandmates - Rachel, Hannah Spearritt, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh and Paul Cattermole.

She said: "There’s been no official meetings or chats about it. At this second, I’m concentrating on my solo stuff — the album and singles — but I can’t predict what’s going to happen in the future. I’ll leave it there.”
