X Factor hopefuls make a splash at Judge’s Houses – as celeb guests also make an appearance
Wannabes soak up the sun before getting down to business to try and secure a place at the live finals
JUDGE's Houses is always the most crucial moment for X Factor contestants - but it isn't all work and no play.
In new images released ahead of this weekend's double bill, the wannabes from all four categories are clearly in their element as they jet to different parts of the globe to sing for a place in the live finals.
Simon Cowell invites his Girls category to Malibu, and the women waste no time getting into their shorts and swimsuits for a splash around in the turquoise waters.
They also enjoy a spot of volleyball on the white sandy beach, clearly in high spirits throughout.
Meanwhile the Boys head to the South of France to sing for judge Nicole Scherzinger and her guest judge, Calvin Harris.

But the boys clearly didn't let the nerves of singing in front of the world's highest paid DJ get the better of them, and also found time to frolic on the nearby beach.
Not to be left out, the Groups made the most of their time at judge Louis Walsh's house in Ibiza, with Ottavio and Bradley putting on a typically flamboyant display, with Bradley ending up in the pool at one point.
But by the look on his face, it's unclear if it was intentional or not.
Yes Lad also got in on the action, with all five boys bounding into the pool, but viewers will have to wait and see if that's because they make it through to the live shows or not.
Louis seems in high spirits too, sharing a laugh with his guest judges, Alesha Dixon and former finalist Fleur East, while host Dermot O'Leary also gets in on the action, cosying up to the Irishman for a cheeky snap.
Finally the Overs join Sharon Osbourne at her home in Los Angeles, but before they get to meet guest judge Robbie Williams, the wannabes head off to take in all the famous sights of Hollywood.
The X Factor continues on ITV Saturday 1 October at 8pm and Sunday 2nd October at 7.30pm.
