JUSTIN Theroux has revealed the secret to his happy marriage to Jennifer Aniston in the wake of her ex-husband Brad Pitt's split from Angelina Jolie.

The pair have been together since 2011 and tied the knot last year.

Justin, who is currently promoting his new film The Girl On The Train, opened up about the reasons behind his happy union with the Friends actress.

He told Entertainment Tonight: "We appreciate each other's sense of humour, we respect one another and we get along.

"I know it sounds simple - but it's true!"

The couple got married in a top secret ceremony at their Bel Air estate on August 5, 2015.

They had told guests they were having a barbecue and surprised them by tying the knot.

Justin's comments on his relationship come after Jennifer's team was forced to deny the pair had split in the wake of Brad and Angelina's split.

The shock claim that Jen and Justin had gone their separate ways came from InTouch Weekly - the same magazine which correctly predicted just one week before that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s marriage had collapsed.

However the 47-year-old’s rep shut down the reports, telling The Sun Online: “The story is just another fabrication with no relationship to reality.”

According to the American gossip magazine the Friend’s beauty wanted to call it quits over Justin’s relationship with his ex-girlfriend Heidi Bivens.

They claimed that the actor had been caught laughing over the phone with his former partner of 14 years.

A source told the mag: “They’ve stayed in contact ever since they broke up.

“Jen hates it. She let him have it, saying it was the last time she ever wanted to hear about that woman.”

However the source added: “Justin and Heidi are friends, and that’s not going to change.”

The pair were spotted looking particularly glum when they were seen for the first time together since the news of her ex's divorce broke.

Meanwhile, as Brad, 52, and Angelina's divorce row rumbles on, sources have said her obsession with her role at the UN caused their split.

New footage has also emerged allegedly showing a “drunk Brad Pitt raging” during a confrontation with Angelina, 41, on a private plane.

Following the shock announcement of their split last week, Angelina is now holed up in a stunning $95,000 per month Malibu hideaway with stunning panoramic views.

New reports also claim Angelina has blocked Brad's number and has cut all contact with him ahead of their divorce.

She wants joint legal custody but sole physical custody of their children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
