Tom Cruise mingles with royal pals Wills and Kate at star-studded Top Gun: Maverick premiere in London

HOLLYWOOD actor Tom Cruise is in London to celebrate the premiere of the brand new Top Gun film.

Top Gun: Maverick is out on May 27, and the star walked the red carpet tonight joined by some very famous friends.

Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton also stepped out at the star-studded event.

Tom, 59, was snapped chatting away with the royal couple, who are believed to be his close pals.

William, 39, and Kate, 40 beamed for the camera at the event, which was filled with other A-Listers.

The royals and Tom also stopped to chat to the show's leading stars, Miles Teller and Jennifer Connelly.

Denise Van Outten also hit the red carpet in a stunning velvet dress.
