Chatting about the Spinning Around singer, who Robbie recorded the duet Kids with in 2000, he said: "Maybe you could get her to cut her pubes and then send them to me?

"There you go, press boys! There's an article for you!"

But no sooner had the 42-year-old made the comments, he was apologising for them.

However, the 48-year-old Aussie songstress wasn't the only pop star Robbie discussed during his time on the show, as he also decided to address the reports he had slept with "four out of the five Spice Girls".

The rumours have swirled around how close he got to the girlband for years, with Robbie's wife Ayda Field even appearing to confirm the reports in a recent episode of Loose Women, saying he 'knew' Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel C.

But Robbie insists it all stems from a joke he used to tell on stage when he performed with Take That.

He said: "I used to introduce (Back For Good) by saying, 'Ladies and gentlemen, I feel very fortunate because I'm one of the only people in the world than can say they were in Take That AND four out five Spice Girls.'

"That was my joke. That was just a joke - and it got me into a lot of trouble.

"And that joke carried on and has followed me through my career since I've said it.

"And now my wife has taken that joke and ran with it herself. When we all know it was five out of five and not four out of five!"
