Maria Fowler and boyfriend Kelvin Batey seen leaving hospital after giving birth to baby girl

The couple welcomed daughter Evie Paris on Sunday

MARIA Fowler beams as she leaves hospital with her newborn daughter Evie Paris Batey.

The ex-Towie star was pictured carrying her little girl as she left the maternity unit with partner Kelvin Batey who was holding her overnight bag and the baby’s car seat.

The former Towie star gave birth to Evie Paris Batey, weighing 8lb, 1oz on Sunday

The pair couldn’t have looked happier as they adoringly held little Evie and Maria planting a kiss on her daughter who was born on Sunday.

Kelvin revealed on his Twitter that the birth was “complicated” but was happy to have his family at home.

He tweeted: “Finally got my girls home after a complicated birth. So proud of the both of them and thankful things are ok now. Evie Paris Batey 25/9/16.”

The pregnancy was tough for the 30-year-old reality star

The motocross racer added: “To meet my soulmate & be lucky enough to start a family with her is the best thing that has ever happened to me. nothing can compare. so happy.”

The 30-year-old former Towie babe had a tough time during her pregnancy and revealed that her baby was breech.

Leading up to giving birth she shared her fears with fans in a post on Twitter, writing: “So yesterday I was in so much pain think baby was turning, but now I can’t figure out if she’s still breech or not… just want a normal birth.”

She was left feeling anxious when she was told that her daughter was breech

To add to her stress, Maria was diagnosed with SPD – Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction – a condition that causes pain in the pelvic region and is very common in pregnancy and needed crutches.

She told The Sun Online at the time: “I’ve got SPD, it’s a problem with my pelvis. I went to physio and have to rest now and use crutches until the baby comes.

She was also diagnosed with SPD which left her needing crutches

“It’s the most painful thing ever. It’s the relaxin your body produces when you’re pregnant that causes a problem with the pelvis.”

And she joked: “And I have to have it!”

But she told us that the condition would go as soon as the baby is born and added: “She’s due within days so there’s not a lot they can do at this stage apart from give me crutches.”
