SUSPECT is a brand new series coming to Channel 4 that is expected to have you on the edge of your seat.
The all-star crime thriller is an adaptation of the original Danish series Forhøret by Christoffer Boe and Miso Film.
Who is in the cast of Suspect?
James Nesbitt as Danny Frater
James Nesbitt is a 57-year-old Northern Irish actor from Ballymena in Country Antrim.
James became a household name after joining the cast of Cold feet in 1997.
The Irish actor has starred in the big-budget US series Stan Lee's Lucky Man and impressed BBC viewers in The Missing.
In 2020 he played Tom Brannick in and in 2021 we saw him in Netflix drama Stay Close.
In Suspect he plays veteran detective Danny Frater, who discovers his daughter, Christina, is dead when faced with her in the hospital morgue.

Richard E. Grant as Harry Carr
Richard E. Grant is a 65-year-old Swazi-English actor and presenter.
He is known for cult movie Withnail And I, and he's also appeared in Gosford Park and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
He received critical acclaim for his role as Jack Hock in Marielle Heller's drama film Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2018).

In 2021, she appeared in Wrath Of Man and Censor, and is playing Christina’s partner, Nicola, in Suspect.
Antonia Thomas as Maia
Antonia Laura Thomas is a 35-year-old British actress and singer, playing lap-dancing club manager Maia in Suspect.

Sam Heughan as Ryan

He is playing Danny’s ex-police partner, Ryan, in Suspect.
Sam is best known for his starring role as Jamie Fraser in the Starz drama series Outlander (2014–present).
He has won the People's Choice Award for Favourite Cable Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor and the Saturn Award for Best Actor on Television, and received a nomination for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series for playing Jamie.
Sacha Dhawan as Jaisal
Sacha Dhawan is a 38-year-old English stage, screen and voice actor from Greater Manchester.
He is playing a drug deal, named Jaisal, in Suspect.
He is best known for playing Manish Prasad in the crime thriller Line Of Duty (2014).
He plays the current incarnation of the Master in the long-running BBC science fiction series Doctor Who (2020–present).
Imogen King as Christina Frater
Imogen King is an up-and-coming starlet who has made her debut in 2015's The Messenger.
She has since gone on to play parts in Doctors, Casualty, Moving On, Darkest Hour and The Watchman.
In 2019, she starred in ITV drama The Bay and in 2021 reprised her role as DS Lisa Armstrong's daughter Abbie.
Despite being found dead in the first episode, Imogen's character Christina, features in all eight episodes of the drama.
When is Suspect on TV?
Suspect kicks off with a double bill on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at 9pm and 9.30pm on Channel 4.
Each episode is half an hour long, with each one featuring a different character as Danny tries to unravel the truth about his daughter's death.
The episode are titles, Danny, Susannah, Harry, Ryan. Jaisal, Maia, Nicola and Jackie.
Double episodes will air at the same time every night from Sunday, June 19, until Wednesday, June 22.
There are eight episodes in total.
