X Factor fans in uproar after almost every wildcard lands a place in the live shows
Viewers are calling The X Factor a 'fix' after tonight's episode and have threatened not to watch anymore
X FACTOR fans were in uproar after tonight’s episode, which revealed that almost every single wildcard landed a place in the live shows.
Three of the four judges put through the wildcards they were given by their fellow judges.
Simon Cowell chose to put through Samantha Lavery, 16, who was put forward by Louis Walsh while Nicole put through Ryan Lawrie, 20.
Sharon Osborne went one step further and put through both both Honey G (who served as a replacement for Ivy Grace, who dropped out due to visa issues) and wildcard Saara Aalto.
This meant that Relley C was the only one who Sharon had given a judges’ houses place on the Six Chair Challenge.
Viewers tonight certainly noticed this and cried out at the show for being a “fix”, with some even threatening to stop watching the show.
After Sharon chose to put through Finnish singer Saara Aalto, one fan wrote: “SO F@@king predictable!! That’s 3 Wild Card acts gone through so far. If they were that good, why didn’t they give them a chair?”
Another tweeted: “Coincidental that most Wild car acts have made it through to the lives” next to a sceptical emoji.
A viewer commented: “So Sharon keeps a wildcard & Honey G who was a last-min replacement. Neither got through on the original 6 chair challenge!”
But it was after Ryan Lawrie was sent through that fans really became outraged and slammed The X Factor for being set-up.
One fan wrote: “X Factor is a fix, every single wildcard act got through lol.
Another asked what “the point of the six chair challenge” is if they put through all the wildcards.
