Who is Emily Middlemas? X Factor 2016 finalist – here’s what we know
The 17-year-old Scottish lass has made the finals after having a little less luck two years ago - will she take the top spot?
IT appears that it's second time lucky for Emily Middlemas - who has been announced as one of Simon Cowell's final three after her second attempt on the X Factor.
The 17-year-old blasted onto the stage with her white guitar and became an instant hit - with Nicole Scherzinger calling the young starlet 'entrancing' in her first audition.
During the live shows she has continued to garner praise, with former winner James Arthur describing her as "really good".
So who is Emily Middlemas? And does she have what it takes to make it to the top on The X Factor?
WHO IS EMILY MIDDLEMAS?
The young star made a great first impression when she appeared at the Glasgow auditions - and was instantly recognised by Simon.
She had originally appeared on the show in 2014, but was knocked out after judge's houses when then-mentor Cheryl declared she wasn't ready for the live shows.
Coming back with a new fire, she immediately won over the judges and climbed her way back to the top after performing Stevie Wonder's Master Blaster.
The singer is made even more memorable by her bright white acoustic guitar, which she often performs with.
Judge Nicole said: “I’m enchanted by you. I find you mesmerising. I think you’re a little find.”
