Adele stops Hyde Park gig to call for security after concern for struggling crowd member
ADELE was forced to stop her Hyde Park comeback gig last night to help a distressed audience member.
The songstress was praised by fans after bringing her performance to a sudden halt before walking across the stage and shouting for security.
Videos circulating online have revealed the dramatic moment Adele, 34, grabbed the microphone and said: “Hang on, stop, stop, stop. Security!
“Do you need security’s help? Can you see where they’re all waving?”
The camera follows the star walking away from her band as she points into the crowd.
“Can you see over there? Can you get in there?”

She also reassures the man who is struggling, saying: “They’re coming now.
“Make room. Everyone out of the way please. They’re coming. You got him? OK. Let’s start again.”
Adele was singing her hit James Bond theme song Skyfall when she saw the drama unfolding in the audience.
One person who witnessed her swooping to assist the man said on Twitter: “Just wanna say mad respect to Adele for stopping the show and making a scene when she thought someone was in trouble and needed help from security.
“That was a crowd of 65,000+ and she still did it. it really is that easy. #AdeleBST.”
Adele today opened up about cancelling her Las Vegas shows earlier this year on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs.
She said she had “definitely felt everyone’s disappointment” following the announcement and had been “devastated”.
She told host Lauren Laverne: “I was frightened about letting them down and I thought I could pull it together and make it work, and I couldn’t.
“I stand by that decision. I don’t think any other artist would have done what I did, and I think that is why it was such a massive, massive story.
“It was like, ‘I don’t care’ and things like that. You can’t buy me. You can’t buy me for nothing. I’m not going to just do a show because I have to or because people are going to be let down or because we are going to lose loads of money. I’m like, ‘The show is not good enough’.

“Of course I could be someone on TikTok or Instagram Live every day being like, ‘I am working on it’. Of course I am working on it! I’m not going to update you if I haven’t got anything to update you with, because that just leads to more disappointment.
Asked about what she wants from life, the singer, who already shares son Angelo with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, said she wants more children with her boyfriend, American sports agent Rich Paul.
She said: “I definitely would like a couple more kids. It would be wonderful if we can. If not, I have got Angelo. I just want to be happy.”
