The demo is believed to have been created during sessions for her fourth album 30, which came out last year, but is is upbeat and suggests she considered a very different sound for the record.

On the track, she sings: “I didn’t really want to be your lover, I was just bored and you were the first one I set my eyes on. Perhaps I was too young to be playing with fire. Like a loaded gun you held me up on your desire.

“Had to learn how to run, had to learn how to walk away.”

She continues in the chorus: “I hate that I love you, the worst part is I never wanted to. It kills me that I can’t beе around you, but I want to.

“Gonna lose my heart, gonna lose my mind in your eyes.”

It is not known who the track is about, or if it was based on her experience.

She split from her husband Simon Konecki in 2019.

Before that, she had another long-term boyfriend, who her second album 21 – featuring chart-topper Someone Like You – was written about.

Adele wrote on Instagram yesterday: “My heart is absolutely full! I’ll never forget these shows with you, slap bang in the middle of London, outdoors, during Pride weekend! Thank you so so much for having me.

It had been five years since Adele last performed a concert.

Fingers crossed she doesn’t leave it so long next time.

Keeping a low profile, 30-year-old model Georgia May and Lucas, 22, sneaked into the VIP section, while his youngest son, five-year-old Deveraux, opted to make more of an impact.

The lad followed in his dad’s footsteps by releasing his inner performer in a black Spider-Man outfit.

Ronnie Wood’s ex wife JO was also at the gig.

Mick joked he wasn’t that impressed with Adele’s choice of a classic black dress during her shows there on Friday and Saturday nights.

He told the crowd: “I went to see Adele here yesterday. She’s an amazing singer, but I’ve worn sparklier dresses.”

Mick paid tribute to the band’s late drummer Charlie Watts, who died last August.

He added: “We really, really miss him, so we dedicate this show to him.”

Elton: Hornets saved me

ELTON JOHN fought back tears on stage at his beloved Watford FC after telling fans the club “saved his life”.

On the first of two nights at Vicarage Road, Elton, the club’s honorary life president admitted he can’t wait to wrap up his mammoth farewell tour so he can spend more time cheering on the Hornets.

The Tiny Dancer singer said: “I first came here when I was six years old.

“You have no idea how much this club is embedded in my soul. I love it so much. It’s a huge part of my life. It saved my life, this club. I can’t wait to finish the tour next year so I can spend more time here and watch the game.”

His tour’s final UK shows were to be at Watford, but Covid cancellations mean he will return to the UK in April.

Karen to avenge Euro loss

DANCE music powerhouse Karen Harding says she would be up for competing in Eurovision after missing out on a spot in the contest as a teenager.

In 2010, she took part in the national selection but was beaten by Josh Dubovie – who went on to finish last with just 10 points in Oslo, Norway.

In an exclusive chat, Karen told me of her delight at Sam Ryder’s second-place glory in May with Space Man.

She said: “I was buzzing about this year because Sam Ryder smashed it. The song was incredible. It was so nice to watch the whole thing. I’m a really big fan of Eurovision.

“My experience is I was 16, properly new to all of it, naive as hell and it was great.

“I would consider doing it again if the song was right and it felt right. Sam has started paving the way for Eurovision greatness, so you never know.”

The Say Something singer returned on Friday with latest single Other Side Of Love, which marks the start of a new chapter.

Karen explained: “It’s the first one off the album and that’s a reason I’m nervous about it. It feels like a long work in progress but the songs are really coming together now.

“It is a bit of a ‘Mam, I’ve made it,’ kind of thing, to have a whole body of work which fans can listen to.”

Bride-to-be Rita’s hot property

SHE must have spent a pretty penny on this dress for Paris Fashion Week but Rita Ora certainly isn’t short of a quid or two.

The pop star wore this black dress with a thigh high slit revealing her tattoo which reads “all’s fair in love and war” yesterday, as new financial documents revealed how her property portfolio is now worth £12.4million.

Rita is relocating back to Britain with Taika

Paperwork for her company Rora Properties Ltd show that her investments in bricks and mortar have tripled since 2020.

Her Grade II-listed “haunted” pad in smart Primrose Hill, North London, has gone up £3million, to a whopping £10million, after she bought the six-bedroom gaff in January 2021.

The Let Me Love You Singer, who is set to tie the knot with film director Taika Waititi, won planning permission last year to renovate the mansion.

It doesn’t look like she will be flogging it for a profit any time soon though, as I told yesterday how she was relocating back to Britain with Taika.

They were seen moving boxes into the home, after spending the last 18 months living between Sydney, Australia and Los Angeles with her New Zealand-born fiancé.

Alongside managing her properties, Rita is planning to wed Oscar-winner Taika in a low-key ceremony.

But don’t worry about them missing out on a party, there will be a star-studded celebration later in the summer.

With all that dosh, I’m sure no expense will be spared.
