Many of his fans expressed their sorrow over the talented star's loss by sending condolences to the Facebook page as soon as it was "announced".
As well as social media, fake news reports began appearing that claimed rapper Santan Dave had been murdered.

However, these claims are completely false, and Santan Dave hasn't actually passed away.
Instead he is merely a victim of another celebrity death hoax that is circling the internet.

Santan Dave hasn't addressed the rumours publicly but the singer's representatives have stated he is not deceased.
Since the news of his "death" broke, Dave has been active on Twitter and Instagram, where he posted a selfie of himself in front of a London bus.
