Honey G vows to silence her haters during the first X Factor live show this weekend

HONEY  G is possibly the most controversial act to appear on the X Factor.

But the rapping star has vowed to silence the haters and show them what she's made off when the live finals kick off this Saturday.

After being eliminated at the Six Chair challenge, Honey G was brought back as a wild card and then chosen as one of Sharon's final three.

Speaking to , the 35-year-old said that life has been a "roller-coaster" since being on the show, and insisted she was the real deal.

She said: “I’m a rap music artist and a natural born musician and performer – I’ve been promoting urban music from a very young age.

"I’m not coming onto The X Factor to perform pop songs, that’s not me – my aim is to raise awareness of urban music and hip-hop.”

She also revealed how "insulting" it was to be regarded as the joke act of the competition, adding: "I might not have the most amazing voice but I’m a heavyweight rapper, singer and producer and I write my own lyrics, so I’ve got real skills to bring to the table.

X Factor fans were outraged after judge Sharon Osbourne handed her a spot in the live finals along with Saara Aalto and Relley C — and at the expense of Yorkshire singer Samantha Atkinson.

Thousands backed a petition to get Honey G booted from the show in a bid for "justice" for Samantha.

The rapper knows she's up against some fierce competition, but hopes to win the public over with her performances.

Despite being rejected by Sharon at the Six-Chair Challenge, Honey G has nothing but praise for her mentor calling her "wonderful".

While unable to reveal the song she would sing this weekend, the rapper, whose real name is Anna Gilford, said that she wanted to "make the hairs on the backs of peoples’ necks stand up."
