When do X Factor 2016 Live Shows start, what songs are the final 12 performing and how can I vote?
THE X Factor 2016 has burst back onto our screens… and it’s safe to say that the competition is really heating up.
With the live shows looming, the 12 remaining contestants will battle it out to win the ITV talent show.
But when do the live performances kick-off, and what will the singers be performing?
What time should you tune in?
ITV1 will be broadcasting the first live show on Saturday at 8pm.
Each contestant will step out onto the stage to perform, before the results are announced on Sunday.
What happens during the live shows?
There are twelve acts through to this year’s live shows and they will compete for their place in the competition during Saturday night’s show.
During Sunday’s show, Dermot will reveal who is safe and who will be leaving the competition at this stage.
Who will be performing?
Nicole selected boys Freddy Parker, Matt Terry and wildcard act Ryan Lawrie to go through to represent Team Scherzy in the live shows.
Doing it for the over 25's is controversial rapper Honey G, Relley C and wildcard act Saara Aalto.
Sharon Osbourne enlisted the help of Robbie Williams to help pick her final three in Los Angeles.
Representing the Groups for Louis Walsh are three (newly named) groups.
Controversial duo Bratavio, 5 after Midnight - formerly known as 5AM and Brooks Way - the two twin Brooks brothers.
And finally, Simon is doing it for the girls - with the help of Spice girls Emma Bunton and Mel B.
He selected Gifty Louise, Emily Middlemas and wildcard act Samantha Lavery to progress to live shows.
What songs are the contestants singing?
As it stands, details of the performances have only been leaked for four of the competitors.
It’s safe to say that there is huge diversity when it comes to the choice of songs selected.
For the girls, Emily Middlemas is singing Toxic by Britney Spears.
Next up, Ryan Lawrie will take to the stage to sing Perfect by One Direction for the boys category.
Representing Louis Walsh’s groups, Brooks Way will perform upbeat anthem Cake By The Ocean by DNCE.
Finally, reports reveal that Overs category’s Saara Aalto will sing kid’s favourite Let It Go, which is from Disney’s Frozen.
How can I vote?
After all of the songs have been performed on Saturday, the X Factor phone lines will be open and ready to start ranking the contestants.
Each individual competitor will have their own number that fans can ring to register the vote.
