KOURTNEY Kardashian has broken her social media silence after her sister Kim was tied up and held at gunpoint during a robbery at her luxury apartment in Paris.
Sharing the excerpt about “finding joy in difficult days”, Kourtney posted the picture to her 21 million followers with the praying hands emoji.
It read: "Remember that joy is not dependent on your circumstances. Some of the world's most miserable people are those whose circumstances seem the most enviable.
"People who reach the top of the ladder career-wise are often surprised to find emptiness awaiting them."
The extract continued: "True joy is a by-product of living in My Presence.
"Therefore you can experience it in palaces, prisons ... anywhere.
"Do not judge a day devoid of joy just because it contains difficulties.
"Instead, concentrate on staying in communication with Me.
"Many of the problems that clamour for your attention will resolve themselves.

The passage, which also included a verse from Hebrew Bible prophet Habakkuk, concluded: “If you make problem-solving secondary to the goal of living close to Me, you can find joy even in your most difficult days.”
Mum-of-two Kim was tied up and robbed of £9 million worth of jewellery while staying at the L'Hotel de Pourtales.
Police in the French capital are hunting five people in connection with the attack, which they have described as “extremely rare”.
A source told Kim regrets flaunting her wealth on social media including showing off her £3.5 million engagement ring gifted to her by husband Kanye West.
Kim was robbed at gun point by a gang of masked thugs who broke into her luxury apartment in Paris on Monday.
The report says the A-lister is still shaken following the crime which has shocked the world.
The source said: “She’s tearing herself up that she Snapchatted the ring so much and wore it all the time.
“Kanye wants to buy her the ring again but she just says she doesn’t want to think about it.
“He says he wants everything to go back to normal and for the incident to not affect their lives.”
However another insider said the voluptuous star’s family are scaling back her public appearances as her security team is revamped featuring plainclothes and undercover bodyguards.
