Cops to probe Kim Kardashian’s bankrupt bodyguard Pascal Duvier after £9 million armed raid on her Paris home
v in July with eye watering debts of nearly £1 million
KIM Kardashian’s bankrupt bodyguard may face questioning by cops probing the £9 million terror raid at her Paris home.
Pascal Duvier, 43, who went bust in July, jetted to the US just hours after Kim was robbed by five armed men dressed as policemen.
The judo fanatic had raced back from a club a mile away, where he was protecting her sisters Kourtney, 37, and Kendall, 20, following a frantic phonecall.
Divorced Mr Duvier is not a suspect over the gems heist but cops may want to speak to him.
One told The Sun: “We will see where the investigation takes us.”
It came as Kim, 35 — her face concealed by a hood — emerged from her New York flat yesterday cradling daughter North, three.
Rapper husband Kanye, 39, held their son Saint, ten months, as the family headed to a car.
Mr Duvier, who wound up his ProtectSecurity firm in Germany in July after racking up £961,296 debts, was seen outside earlier.
The Kardashians have stood by him since Monday’s 2.30am raid in which Kim was bound, gagged and dumped in a marble bathtub.
Kanye will decide if he stays or goes.
A source said: “Pascal isn’t irreplaceable.
“The family likes him but Kanye’s evaluating his family’s needs.
“He’ll decide.”
Police, meanwhile, have identified an inconsistency in the account of the porter who let the robbers in when they buzzed an intercom asking for Kim at the posh Hotel Pourtales.
The man, also not a suspect, said he opened Kim’s first floor apartment with a single key yet it is understood the nine flats in the building near the British Embassy in the 8th Arrondissement have armoured doors locked from the inside.
A source said: “It is inconceivable that this concierge could have just walked in with the robbers without breaking the door down and there’s no sign of forced entry.”
The gun gang stole Kim’s £3.5 million diamond engagement ring plus £5.24 million of gems in a box.
