Insists people 'love' the rapper despite online petition launched to have her booted out of competition
X FACTOR mentor Sharon Osbourne has defended her decision to put Honey G through to Live Shows and insists that people ‘love’ the rapper.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, the 63-year-old who is overseeing this year’s Overs category, said: "Hand on heart it's about entertaining people and Honey G whether you love her or you don't love her entertains.
“She has her own unique way of rapping and people want to see more.
"Whether they say they don't... they do."

Despite initially being turned down by Sharon after the Six Chair Challenge, Honey G was later brought back to replace Ivy Grace who was unable to continue in the competition due to visa difficulties.
The decision left many viewers outraged with some threatening to boycott the show.
It even prompted an online petition to have her removed before Live Shows begin this week.
Joining Sharon for the interview, Honey G said of the situation: "Obviously there are going to be haters everywhere you go - even people very, very famous have haters.
"I see the haters poppin' and I don't really take any notice of them.
She added: "They just need to check themselves."
The X Factor continues this Saturday on ITV.
