Jordan Lee is feeling the pressure ahead of his performance on Saturday night
X FACTOR’S 5 After Midnight star Jordan Lee has confessed to breaking down in tears backstage due to the pressure of the show.
The 23-year-old singer, whose band mate Kieran Alleyne is currently expecting his first child with his girlfriend, opened up about his homesickness during an interview with The Sun Online.
Jordan said: “I’ve been crying loads about being away from home.
“Everyone in your area is depending on you, I try to enjoy myself – but we’re all human, right?”
Despite sailing through the competition so far with band mates Kieran and Nathan Lewis – the boys have been struggling to perfect their performance ahead of Saturday’s first live show.
Jordan added: “It’s been hard to nail things but we want to be on the ball on Saturday… it’s tough.
“Finding the cameras and the staging is hard but we’re getting there.”
After the band were rocked with the news Kieran is soon to become a father, a source close to them explained what this meant for their future exclusively to The Sun Online.
The insider said: “It’s a whole different game now that Kieran knows he’ll soon have a family to support.
“This news has just given him and the lads even more drive to win the The X Factor.”
