Coleen Rooney signs up with Netflix for documentary about gripping Wagatha Christie case

COLEEN Rooney has signed up with Netflix for a documentary on the libel case while the BBC has commissioned a rival show to put Rebekah Vardy’s view of the spat.

Mum-of-four Coleen, 36, was shadowed by the film crew from Dorothy St Pictures at London's High Court during the trial in May.

The company was also behind an eagerly anticipated documentary on Pamela Anderson.

Sources said the programme on Coleen will be “classy and speak from the heart”.

The BBC documentary is being made by London-based production company Curious Films.

Another company, Optomen Television, is also making a programme about the case.

It is understood neither woman will appear in it.

Meanwhile, the internet has been flooded by memes after the verdict.
