KATIE Price says the necklace she wore on Loose Women Friday was NOT bought for her by ex-husband Alex Reid, contrary to what fans believed.

The former glamour model had tongues wagging when she appeared on the ITV talk show sporting the familiar-looking jewellery.

Eagle-eyed viewers were certain it was the same diamond horse necklace cage fighter Alex presented her with on their wedding day in 2010.

While Katie didn't deny it was the same necklace, she did say that Alex didn't pay for it.

In a video posted to Instagram she said: "I'd just like to clarify that no ex bought me this necklace, they wouldn't be able to afford it. I bought it myself."

The star added that she and husband Kieran Haylor are "happily married with no problems" — despite telling Loose Women viewers she was taking a break from the talk show to work out some issues with the former stripper.

Katie told viewers that working on her latest memoir, Reborn, had brought back painful memories of Kieran cheating on her with her best friend, Jane Pountney.

She said: “It has been two and a half years and there’s lots of things in the book that are very traumatic for me and Kieran. Obviously we had therapy at the time and I thought we were over it and had moved on.

“I thought I had dealt with it but you have to remember that when it all happened, I had just had babies and couldn’t take in everything."
