Robbie Williams’ wife Ayda Field shows off black eye from ‘totally scary’ surgery
ROBBIE Williams’ wife Ayda Field has shown off her black eye after a surgical procedure that left her “totally f***ing scared.”
The 43-year-old star, who shares four children with Robbie, took to social media to tell fans she was “rockin’ a full shiner,” with a sad face emoji.
In the snap, Ayda looks at the camera with one eye noticeably different to the other while donning a grey t-shirt and her hair tied back.
The star has had to have a chalazion removed from her eye, which is a small lump on the edge of the eyelid which happens when a gland is blocked at the base of an eyelash.
Ayda shared a picture in a green cap before going into surgery, and admitted she was terrified but trying to play it cool before the removal.
After it was done, she shared a snap in sunglasses and told fans she’d be “wearing them for a while” after the surgery that “sucked.”

According to , a chalazion starts with a small area that may be red or swollen, and you can treat it at home with a warm compress, or by gently massaging the eyelid a few times a day.
If needed, a procedure is normally performed under anaesthetic to numb the eyelid, and the eyelid can remain inflamed for several weeks afterwards.
Ayda was in hospital a couple of months ago for a colonoscopy too, and shared an update with fans on how she was getting on.
