X FACTOR fans have started a campaign for Yes Lad to take Brooks Way's place in the live finals.

After the twins were sensationally axed from the competition on Sunday following The Sun on Sunday's revelation at the extent of Josh Brooks’ abusive relationship with his ex, fans are keen to get the Manchester band back on the show.

As Brooks Way were initially axed from just Saturday’s show pending an investigation – Yes Lad’s fans started the campaign.

Their army of followers trended #BringBackYesLad on Twitter in the United Kingdom.

As the twins have now been removed from the show completely, fans have began spamming the X Factor's official account on Twitter.

The Manchester based band were last seen in Judges' Houses when Louis decided he wouldn't be taking them to the live showsCredit: Syco / Thames / Dymond

Viewer Colin Denwood wrote: “@TheXFactor Does Louis get another group?? Yes Lad please.”

Sarah Graham tweeted: “So now another act has gone & those brothers aren't coming back for Louis can @YESLADBAND come back?????”

Brooks Way's shock exit from the competition comes after The Sun revealed the extent of Josh’s abusive relationship with ex-girlfriend Amelia Clark.

Amelia said she had been left with bite marks to her face, black eyes and severe bruising on her legs and arms during their four year relationship.

The attacks were so frequent that police, who had been called on six occasions, begged her to apply for a restraining order against him.
