The model was left devastated after trying to find her beloved dog who had gone missing
ABBEY Clancy has revealed her heartbreak over her dog being killed by a hit-and-run driver.
The 30-year-old model had been tweeting for help in finding her missing pup 'Scamp' on Friday.
She wrote: "People of Liverpool please help find my dog went missing from menlove avenue tonight he's very nervous called scamp."
Later that day it seemed that all was well after she revealed that someone had found him and handed him at a vet.
Abbey said the Scamp had been "found safe a few miles from where he escaped".
She added that it had been a "horrific few hours" and thanked everyone for "all the love and support".
Tragically this did not have a happy ending and the next day she announced that her dog had died from his injuries.
The model wrote: "Heartbroken to tell everyone my little scamp passed away the vet had already put him down when we arrived to collect him due to injuries".
