The truth about X Factor rapper Honey G revealed on her LinkedIn profile
CONTROVERSIAL X Factor rapper Honey G has been unmasked as a sweet-looking, middle-class recruitment manager from Harrow, who boasts a passion for tennis and a master's degree in management.
On the hit reality show, the aspiring hip-hop star is rarely seen without her trademark sunglasses and tracksuits.
However, her profile picture on professional networking website LinkedIn shows a very different side to her.
Honey G has become a household name since winning a place in the reality TV show with her divisive rap performances and tough attitude.
Many fans have been left baffled and they have been speculating that her whole persona is a fake.
In real life, her name is Anna Gilford, 35, and it has now emerged that she is completely unrecognisable in her day-to-day life.
Honey G's LinkedIn profile picture reveals the real woman behind The X Factor act, and she is a world away from the brash aspiring rap superstar.
Anna is shown wearing subtle make-up, a chic hairstyle and an elegant navy outfit.
On the page, she goes on to boast about her achievements in tennis and netball, revealing she competed in both the North American and European Maccabi Games and took home a bronze medal in 1995.
Her profile lists her interests as windsurfing, skiing and current affairs, and reveals she has a master's degree in management from UCL.
Anna has spent more than a decade working in IT, and now runs her own recruitment firm.
She has won plenty of praise from clients over her management skills, with one describing her as "one of the most resourceful people I've ever had the pleasure to work with".
He added: "A truly dedicated professional that it's been a delight to work with."
As well as her master's degree, Anna also has bachelor’s degree in Popular Music and Recording from Salford.
Honey G's inclusion in the show has divided The X Factor's loyal fans, with many accusing judge Sharon Osbourne of making a big mistake.
Many demanded the show be cancelled because of the Honey G outrage, and some started a petition calling for her to be given the boot.
However, Sharon has since defended the controversial rapper.
Honey G also vowed to prove her critics wrong, and she appeared to be on track as she made it through to the next round of live finals following this weekend's shows.
She was back in the news again today when she came under fire from TV host Piers Morgan.
