TAKE one part chat show, add one part cookery show, sprinkle with the inimitable Harry Hill and simmer for 30 minutes. Then serve as Sky’s brand new, comical parody of well-loved cooking shows: Harry Hill’s Tea-Time.

In this hilarious new cookery-meets-celebrity chat show, the comedy legend invites stars into his crazy world. It’s perfect viewing for the Brewer family, from Tadworth, Surrey; mum Kate, dad Kev and kids Dylan and Beth loved what we served up on the Sky 1 sofa this week.

Dylan, 10, thought it was brilliant fun. He said: “I just love Harry Hill’s wacky sense of humour.”

His 12-year-old sister, Beth, added: “We are big fans of the Great British Bake Off, so it was great that Paul Hollywood was the show’s first guest.”

From a George Michael-shaped kebab to a cake made in a trilby, this is like no other cookery show on the box. Kate, 39, said: “There aren’t many programmes that are suitable for all of us to sit down and watch together but this is great. It's a crazy, unique play on a traditional cooking show.”

Dad Kev, 41, agreed. He said: “It's that clever style of comedy that both adults and kids can enjoy."

As for the hat cake, Dylan was sold: “I’d give it a try but I’d swap the butter for whipped cream.”

Watch out mum and dad – the Brewer kitchen is sure to get messy.
