X Factor fans left heartbroken after Yes Lad are overlooked for a place on live shows yet AGAIN after Brooks Way are axed

Twins were dropped from show amid controversy and replaced by girl group Four of Diamonds

HEARTBROKEN X Factor fans are up in arms that boy band Yes Lad were overlooked for a place in the live finals yet again in favour of Four of Diamonds.

The four-piece girl band were unveiled as the new finalists on Monday following the shock axing of twin duo Brooks Way, who were kicked off the show amid claims Josh Brooks hit his ex-girlfriend.

The brother's had previously been suspended from performing on the first live show on Saturday, and after an uncertain weekend, the decision was made to remove the band from the show permanently.

But fans who had been hopeful of a last minute reprieve for popular five-piece Yes Lad were left disappointed all over again once it had been revealed that Four of Diamonds would be joining Louis Walsh's category instead.

The group's supporters had started a ferocious social media campaign to try and get the boys reinstated on the X Factor, and took to Twitter to share their heartbreak that their efforts had amounted to nothing.

A fellow Twitter user added: "The brooks were the only band I wanted to watch. Yes lad and the brooks are gone. I'm not watching it" while another said: "not just saying this cause I support them but I'm 100% sure yeslad have much more potential to go far in the competition than 4 of diamonds".

However many fans declared their undying love for the group despite not making it past the Judge's Houses stage.

One wrote: "Even though my boys didn't get back on xfactor I'm always going to support them, your amazing all of you. Keep going lads [sic]".

Thankfully for the girls, many fans of the ITV talent show were thrilled to have them back on the show, after Louis originally sent them home from his Judge's Houses.

One wrote: "SO happy Four of Diamonds are back on X factor!! Should've gone through in the first place" while a fellow fan added: "@FourOfDiamonds_ happy for you girls! Go smash it".

Another Twitter user wrote: "fantastic news girls. Four of diamonds will smash the xfactor! Louis has redeemed himself! Show the world now who u are!X"
