Kimberley Walsh reveals best friend Cheryl’s excitement over her second child

The singer's second baby is expected around Christmas time

KIMBERLEY Walsh has revealed what her best friend Cheryl thinks of her pregnancy news – amid reports she’s expecting her own.

The Girls Aloud singer, who is pregnant with her second child with husband Justin Scott, opened up about her bandmate's excitement over her growing brood.

She told : “Cheryl knew I wanted to have my children close together so she’s happy that I’ve got another on the way. I’m sure she expected it in a way but she’s still over the moon for me.”

Her comments come just a day after she said her mate would make a ‘brilliant mum’ amid growing speculation the 33-year-old is expecting her first baby with 23-year-old Liam Payne.

Speaking to The Sunday People, Kimberley said of Cheryl: “She’s really happy right now. And she’ll be a brilliant mum. She has loads of nieces and nephews, so she’s used to the madness of children.”

Meanwhile Kimberley has revealed that she and her hubby aren’t planning to find out the sex of the baby.

She told the mag: “We want the surprise. I don’t have a preference – I think it would be lovely for Bobby to have a little brother so close in age but I’d also love to have a daughter, so I can’t really lose!”

With the new addition due around Christmas, the star added:” Christmas is going to be very full-on in our household!

“With my first pregnancy I was just willing every day to pass by, because I wanted him to arrive, but the second one is just flying by.’
