Graham Norton set to replace late Sir Terry Wogan as Children In Need’s host next month

GRAHAM Norton will follow the late Sir Terry Wogan as Children In Need’s host next month.

The comedian, 53, also replaced Wogan, who died in January, aged 77, as commentator of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008.

Norton will join an all-star presenting team including Tess Daly, 47, Greg James, 30, Ade Adepitan, 43, Rochelle Humes, 27, and Marvin Humes, 31.

He said: “It is a huge privilege to join the presenting team for the Children in Need Appeal show. This year we’d love to raise as much money as we possibly can in honour of the late Sir Terry Wogan.”

Questions about Sir Terry’s ailing health were raised when Dermot O’Leary, 43, took over his presenting role for the chairty last year, which he’d held since it started in 1980.

This year’s appeal show will take place on November 19 on BBC1
