Mollie King plays it cool as she almost bumps in to hunky ex David Gandy…. and his new girlfriend
Mollie and David dated for five years before splitting earlier this year
MOLLIE King played it cool when she almost bumped into her ex-boyfriend David Gandy at a fancy cocktail party in London last night.
In what could have been a very awkward moment, Mollie narrowly avoided seeing David and his new girlfriend Stephanie Mendoros at a cocktail party to celebrate the opening of the Chopard exhibition at Phillips Gallery.
The former Saturdays singer looked chic in a black and white outfit and slicked back her blonde locks to add an edge to her look.
She sported chic black cigarette trousers, and a crisp white shirt that flashed her toned midriff.
The 29-year-old finished off her ensemble with a white scarf and some lace up black stilettos.
Meanwhile, her ex boyfriend and top model David looked as dapper as ever in his black suit at the exclusive bash.
Meanwhile, David's new lady Stephanie looked chic in a black lace dress and nude heels.
It looks like the presence of her ex didn't phase Molly as she hung out with McFly's Dougie Poynter and Toby Huntington-Whiteley.
It looks like things are going strong between David, 36, and Stephanie as they were pictured looking loved up on a sun holiday in Greece.
RELATED STORIES
Mollie started dating David in 2011 but the relationship did not last long and they split a year later.
But the pair eventually decided to get back together and rekindled their romance in 2015.
Once again in January of this year the romance hit the skids and the couple once again called it quits.
Following their split earlier this year, Mollie has penned a break-up single about their relationship called Back To You.
Her first solo record included some damning lyrics like: “And I wonder what you’re thinking right now, cause I’m going through hell. And I wonder why we’re doing this now, I keep asking myself.”
She also sings: “Don’t wanna be with nobody, just wanna make it with you. Caught up in all of my feelings, baby, why don’t you feel like I do.”
Speaking about the track for the first time, Mollie admitted that it is about a particularly difficult relationship she went through recently in the public eye.
She told The Sun: “Back To You is a very personal song to me. A lot of my writing inspiration has come from what I’ve been through over the last couple of years.
“The song is about a relationship that you know isn’t working but keep going back to them because you love them.
“It is about a relationship I had that was in the public eye, but I’ve said everything I want to say about it in the lyrics to the song.
“Writing the song was actually a cathartic experience, as it allowed me to say everything I was feeling at that time about the situation."
