Coronation Street’s David Platt puts his murderous revenge plot into motion
Grieving over wife Kylie's murder, David isn't about to let justice slip through his hands and begins plotting his revenge
David Platt has put his shocking revenge plan into motion in Coronation Street.
The grieving widower of Kylie Platt - who was murdered in July by thug Clayton on the ITV soap - is struggling to cope as the trial nears and now he's ready to take drastic action to ensure he gets his revenge.
Lying to Gail to stop her from discovering what he's planning, David claims he goes to Kylie's grave to talk to her but really he's got more sinister trips in mind.
"Out again? Doing your disappearing act," Gail said as she confronted David before he had the chance to leave the house.
"Why won't you tell me where you're going? I'm worried about you."
Trying to get her off his back, David told her: "I go to the cemetery and take her some flowers, she liked flowers and it's quiet there, I can think and talk to Kylie.
"Not out loud, to myself, but it helps. She doesn't answer back or anything, I'm not imagining stuff but it's like we're still connected."
But instead of heading to the cemetery, David borrows brother Nick's car and goes to the prison to plan his revenge.
