GORGEOUS First Dates waiter Sam has revealed he spent a loved up weekend with stunning blonde Millie after she turned down her official date and went back into Paternoster Chop House to get his number.
Fans of the Channel 4 dating show were left on tenterhooks after Sam and Millie swapped digits on the show which aired on 4 October.
Speaking exclusively about their date to The Sun Online, Sam says: “We had a lovely couple of days together after the show.
“It was summer and we played lots of sport, tennis being one of them and some basketball.
“I met some of her friends, she met a few of mine, it was like a summer romance.
“It was pleasure to be around someone who was as pretty and lovely as someone as Millie.”
Sam, who’s from East London, jokes that meeting West Londoner Millie was like “a tale of two cities” and reveals he hopes the pair will continue to see each other.
But could an engagement be on the cards?
He says: “I’m not a serial dater, monogamy is fun.
“I’m a very busy guy and Millie is a very busy lady and she’s just started a new job with a lot of travelling so in no way are we going to be announcing an engagement or anything.
“It’s going to be very casual, very simple – I don’t like to over complicate things especially when it’s in the public eye.
“We’re just enjoying it and seeing where it leads.”
Going back to the evening they met, Sam admits he was stunned when Millie walked back into the restaurant.
He explains: “I was very red faced when she walked in.
“I was embarrassed when Fred called my name, it’s one of those things, I always try and be prepared for any situation but when something like that happens it’s like ‘woah!’.
“In essence, I was jumping for joy, but you have to be calm and collected rather than overly excited as it can be off putting sometimes.
“Also, when I’ve got Fred next to me saying: ‘Go on, Sam, you can do this!’ it’s like, ‘Oh, can I? Yes I can!’”
Viewers noted how Sam’s face lit up when he first met Millie and he explains it was her confidence that drew her towards him.
Sam says: “It took a very brave Millie to do that, a lot of the props go to her for doing it – I was caught off guard.
“She’s such a fun girl, the confidence thing makes her so attractive
“Fingers crossed, there are so many variables in life but fingers crossed it all works out but it is what it is…”
First Dates continues on Mondays at 10pm on Channel 4.
