Olivia Attwood slams Joey Essex in feud over ‘cruel’ treatment of dog
OLIVIA Attwood has slammed Joey Essex over "cruel" treatment of his dog - taking to Instagram with an angry rant.
The Love Island star posted snaps of the former Towie favourite's new pooch last night, standing in the garden of his lavish Essex home.
Joey, 32, gushed over the "newest member" of his family in the snap, showing off a Dobermann pup standing by his sprawling pool.
The black and brown pooch has pointed ears, augmented using cruel ear cropping - which sees dogs ears partially removed.
The cropping procedure, common in certain breeds of dogs including Dobermanns, is often done with razor blades and no anaesthetic,- it has no health value and is solely for cosmetic purposes.
Following the post made by Joey, dog lover Olivia, 31, took to her Instagram stories to hit back against his decision to crop the ears of his sweet new pooch.

"Just a reminder," she posted, alongside a snap of what dogs look like before and after cropping, calling it "illegal and painful".
"In most cases, it's done without pain relief. Can you actually imagine - all for a fashion statement," she continued.
Olivia then shared snaps of her two dogs, including "one guard dog", both of which she stressed had their "ears intact".
Elsewhere, celebrity vet Sean McCormack also took to his Instagram stories to call out Joey's decision, slamming him for "mutilating" his pooch.
