Adele makes £84,000 a day following chart-topping success of latest album 25 as the superstar’s career earnings top £100m

The pop superstar has pulled in more than £100million in the past five years following the mammoth success of her albums

POP superstar Adele pulled in more than £30million last year — £84,000 a day.

The Hello singer’s career earnings now top £100million thanks to her three huge hit albums 19, 21 and 25.

Accounts released yesterday show she paid herself a salary of nearly £4million from her various companies. That works out at around £18,000-a-day.

Adele is director of Melted Stone Limited, which lists its activities as “the provision of music recording services of the singer/songwriter Adele Adkins”.

It reported a £30.7million turnover, made a £15.9million net profit and held £13.7million in funds for the 28-year-old.

Another of her companies, Melted Stone Publishing Ltd, held a further £5.2million.

Together they had reported turnover of more than £103million in the last five years.

Tottenham-born Adele, who has a £6million home in West London, is also a director of A Adkins Touring Ltd.

The figures for the year to December 31, 2015 also show Adele paid nearly £4million in corporation tax which is more than some global companies.

Facebook paid just £4,327 in corporation tax in 2014 while Google has been criticised for routing earnings through Ireland.

Her latest album 25 came out in November so most sales will appear in this year’s accounts.
