'don't listen to a word he says'

Simon Cowell warns Four Of Diamonds that mentor Louis Walsh ‘hates girl groups’ after their X Factor debut

The head judge didn't hold back with his comments about Louis

SIMON Cowell issued girl group Four of Diamonds a harsh warning about their mentor Louis Walsh as they made their X Factor debut this evening.

Following a stunning performance of You Keep Me Hangin’ On, the music mogul told them: “Louis hates girl bands so you have a problem.”

As Louis sat with his mouth agape he went on to tell them that Little Mix were on the show tomorrow night and they should pick up everything they could form the X Factor alumni.

He added:  “Don’t listen to word Louis says, work it out yourself.”

Looking slightly shocked, Louis said: “I like this girlband, they like each other. And they can all sing.

“They are really nice – that’s the difference.”

At the start of the week it was announced that Four Of Diamonds would be returning to the X Factor – in the place of axed group Brooks Way.

The twin brothers, Kyle and Josh Brooks, were excluded from the line-up amid allegations that Josh had been involved in a violent relationship with an ex-girlfriend.

Speaking about their return prior to their first live show, Louis told The Sun Online exclusively: "I did love them from Ibiza and if I could’ve picked a fourth act, I was going to pick them anyway."

Louis also insisted he has no regrets over what happened with the Brooks brothers.

He added: "I took a chance with the two boys and maybe it didn’t work. I have no regrets...

"I know nothing about it and I’m not talking about Brooks,” said the 64-year-old. “I’m not talking about them."

The group, made up of Caroline, 19, Lauren, 21, Yasmin, 17 and Sophia, 19, were just as excited about returning, saying: “We are so excited to be back on The X Factor we’re really looking forward to performing live, working hard and showing everyone what we’re made of.";
