90s superstar unrecognisable in 20-year-old throwback – can you tell who it is?
A NINETIES superstar looks completely unrecognisable in a 20-year-old throwback.
The Texas frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri shared the vintage snap with her 62,000 Instagram followers.
The social media post was a shout out to the Scots singers mate Kate Lee, who was celebrating her birthday.
With the makeup artist replying: "Ahhh!! Ha! This was my leaving party 20 years ago!
"Thanks for choosing a younger pic! Love you SS you flipping champ!"
Fans couldn't get enough of the unearthed pic, as one wrote: "Gorgeous (said in a Scottish accent)."
Another said: "Happy smiley people."
A third added: "Hot chicks."
While one commented: "Love this photo of you both."
The 54-year-old was born in Glasgow and joined the hit pop group in 1986.
With a string of iconic records including I don't want a Lover and Mr Haze, the band fast became one of the most popular groups of the 90s.
In recent years the musician launched a solo career and also tried her hand at acting.
It comes after Sharleen revealed she takes cannabis oil to help her sleep.
The Texas star, 51, told how just a few drops before bed leave her feeling extra cosy.
