Charlie was left red-faced after Catherine corrected his faux pas live on air
BBC Breakfast presenter Charlie Stayt was left mortified after getting Catherine Tate’s catchphrase wrong as he interviewed her.
His co-star Naga Munchetty struggled to contain her laughter as Charlie confused a Little Britain sketch with Catherine’s famous “Am I bovvered?” skit.

Charlie’s faux pas came at the end of the interview with 48-year-old Catherine on the early morning show.
His nerves appeared to be getting the better of him before he even started, telling her: “I’m going to get it wrong now.”
As the presenter started to warily utter, “Yes but no but…”Catherine cut him off and explained his mistake to him.
She joked: “Yes but no but that was Little Britain but…”
Charlie’s colleague, former Strictly Come Dancing star Naga, started to laugh as Charlie began to apologise.

Catherine appeared to find his confusion hilarious however, saying to Charlie: “Am I bovvered though?
“Am I bovvered that you got it wrong?
“Look at my face, is my face bovvered that you got my catchphrase wrong, no!
“No look, Charlie, face, bovvered?”

Charlie’s mistake even caught the attention of Matt Lucas, the creator of the “Yes but no but…” catchphrase, as he tweeted the video to his 900,000 followers.
Matt’s Little Britain character Vicky Pollard made the line famous when the show started in 2003.
Catherine’s “Am I bovvered” skit first appeared in The Catherine Tate Show in 2004 through the medium of mouthy schoolgirl Dame Lauren Alesha Masheka Tanesha Felicia Jane Cooper.
It's not the first time Charlie and Naga have faced a rather embarrassing situation.
