LISA Appleton has vowed to be the next Kim Kardashian – but the comedy version.
The reality star – who rose to fame on Big Brother back in 2008 – opened up about her global ambitions as she returns to the spotlight once again.
Speaking about her fame, the 48-year-old told The Sun Online: “I will always stay in the public eye. I’ll probably go worldwide.
“I’ll be the next Kim Kardashian but more of a comedy version. I’m going to take it worldwide, why not? I believe life will begin at 50.”
A year ago Lisa hit headlines after appearing on Celebs On Benefits – during which she revealed she had been on benefits for three years and was unable to find work.
Today the mum of one, who is penning an autobiography, has come a long way and while she is still getting house benefits, she is now mostly supporting herself.
Discussing that tough time, she said: “When I was on Celebs On Benefits a year ago, you could see I was really going through it.
“I was coming out of depression. You can see that I have come on leaps and bounds.”
She suffered a slight set back in August after her beloved father passed away but she has picked herself up again.
Over the last few months the reality star has been seen partaking in a number of rather outrageous activities - including stripping naked on the beach, getting attacked by a seagull while eating a cream bun and feeding her toyboy lover a sausage.
Despite looking incredibly loved up with boxer Robin Deakin, Lisa has revealed they are no longer together – and she already moved on... with another toyboy.
“I’m not seeing Robin anymore. We were just seeing how it went. I have a new fella now and I’m really happy with him,” she told us.
“Robin had liked me since Big Brother and I knew of him and our agent introduced us. We started seeing each – there was a little bit of romance but not that much. It didn’t feel right.”
And while her recent pictures might seem a little OTT to some, Lisa says “it’s just her.”
She said: “I’m just me, I’m just a character. I’m absolutely wild. I have always been like that. Never a dull minute. I think you can see I am just having fun.
“I’m young at heart. I’m like a young girl enjoying life – I’ve had enough stress. It’s kind of making up for the years I wasn’t me. I’m a larger than life character.”
