Sweet moment Ed Sheeran gives lad, 10, his guitar at surprise street gig – after making him promise to practise
ED Sheeran hands a lad of ten his guitar at a street gig — after making him promise to practise.
The superstar, 31, spotted Arthur Baggett in the crowd as he played an unplanned busking set in his hometown of Ipswich.
Earlier, Ed bought the guitar from a local shop before gigging in front of a crowd of hundreds.
Hundreds turned up to watch the maestro who gave away his new guitar when he finished signing the instrument with the words “Arthur - play this guitar”.
Arthur said: “I was overwhelmed when he said that he was going to give it to me.
“I've been at the front the whole time.”

Speaking on his Instagram Story shortly before, Ed explained: “I am in Music World in Ipswich and I have just bought a guitar.”
He continued: “I'm going to go to Ipswich high street by the town hall and play a free gig anyone in Ipswich come on down.”
The mini gig came after Ed surprised his German fans with an impromptu gig at Oktoberfest in Frankfurt last week.
Ed had just played a sold-out concert at Deutsche Bank Park, having spent the past six months globetrotting through Europe on tour.
