Kanye West CANCELS Kim Kardashian’s birthday party following Paris robbery… but treats her to £40K earrings instead
KANYE West has cancelled his wife Kim Kardashian’s big birthday bash amid security concerns after the £8.5 million gem robbery in Paris.
The rapper had planned a massive birthday blowout to mark her 36th birthday on October 21, but is now planning something much more low key.
He will however still treat her and has forked out a massive £40,000 on a pair of Ruby Lorraine Schwartz drop earrings he helped design himself.
A source told The Sun Online: “Kanye is devastated he has to cancel - but his family's security comes first.
“He had gone all out for Kim's birthday and it was going to be an all expenses sparred event with champagne and canapés.

“Now they will do something very low key instead. He's made sure he will still spoil her with the stunning one of a kind earrings though - as he doesn't cut corners when it comes to his missus.”
Kim’s party was due to be a massive and super glam affair - a 1920s themed bash where the family would be dripping in diamonds and all things fabulous, much like the party the klan held for Kris’ 60th.
Doting hubby Kanye had planned everything down to the finest details – event the menu which included mini sliders, fatty tuna, sashimi, and jerk chicken skewers.
The dad-of-two was looking to hold it at popular celeb haunt The Nice Guy, or failing that, a marquee at their mansion.
Making sure it was night to remember Kanye had planned to invite Kim's besties Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Larsa Pippin and all the Kardashian klan, including Blac Chyna and Caitlyn Jenner.
But in light of her horrifying ordeal, he felt it was too much of a security risk and would much rather lay low on her big day instead now.
Last week it was revealed that Kim has pulled out of a $1million club appearance she was expected to attend for her birthday.
The star – who has not returned to social media since the robbery - was due to celebrate at Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas but decided not to after the terrifying heist.
