Jamelia AXED from Loose Women after three years on panel
Former singer has been cut from the all-female panel after falling out of favour with viewers
WITH the wide range of topics discussed on Loose Women there’s always going to be a chance they offend someone.
But it’s when the panellists anger bosses that they find themselves in a spot of bother.
And popstar JAMELIA has done just that, and has lost her role on the ITV show as a result.
The Brit-nominated singer wounded show chiefs because of a string of forthright views on controversial topics.
And the comments have cost her the job, as ITV chiefs try to distance themselves from some of her views.
A source said: “Jamelia hasn't helped herself with some of her opinions.
“The show is often close to the bone but certain comments were deemed to go too far.
“Loose Women’s viewers come from a variety of backgrounds and the producers don’t want them to be offended.”

Joanne's dressed to kill
JOANNE FROGGATT is best known for starring as saintly maid Anna Bates in hit ITV drama Downton Abbey.
But the actress will soon be swapping grace and virtue for sex and gore as she takes on the role of real-life Victorian serial killer Mary Ann Cotton in chilling new drama Dark Angel.
The two-part series about the dressmaker who killed 21 people including 11 of her own children and three of her husbands, begins on ITV on October 31. Speaking about its grisly and sometimes raunchy scenes, Joanne said: “The sexual content is not there to titillate the audience in any way.
“I think people who know me as Anna from Downton Abbey will be more shocked at other parts of this story, to be honest.”
Joanne had to get used to sporting a scruffier look and 19th Century garb for the role, top right – instead of her usual glitzy red carpet attire, above.
She stuns in both.
No rest for Cole on Sickly Come Dancing
POORLY Strictly pro BRENDAN COLE isn’t relaxing at home in his pants watching Netflix, despite resting on doctor’s orders.
Instead, he is getting show bosses to send him tapes of his celebrity partner ANASTACIA rehearsing with his temporary replacement, Gorka Marquez.
Brendan’s chest infection could force him out of Saturday night’s show, where he and Anastacia, above, are due to dance a quickstep.
But he’s clearly not being totally hands-off.
A Strictly source said: “He’s keeping an eye on what they’re doing. It’s his thing, his routine.” Brendan went to A&E last Friday after struggling to breathe but went on to dance a day later, ending up in the bottom two for the second time. A show spokesman said: “Brendan is hoping to be better for this Saturday.”
It’s not the first blow for the dance duo this season.
Anastacia tore her mastectomy scar tissue in the first week of training, forcing her to change her routine and skip the dance-off with MELVIN ODOOM, who was then booted off the show.
Gorka had been dancing with EastEnders actress TAMEKA EMPSON, who was eliminated in week two.

Richard Osman: 'Jump is rip-off'
POINTLESS co-host RICHARD OSMAN has given The Jump a stinging public snub in the latest blow suffered by the troubled reality series.
He has turned down an offer to appear on C4’s winter sports show, which is struggling to sign up celebs because of a long list of injuries in previous series.
But Richard was not worried about broken bones.
Instead he thinks the format was pinched from one made by production giants Endemol – where he is creative director.
In a tweet thought to refer to 2003’s The Games, he wrote yesterday: “Just got asked if I’d consider appearing on The Jump. Considering it was 100 per cent ripped off from an Endemol format, it’s a possible no from me.”
And referring to the ski-jumping show’s makers he added: “The Jump is the only time I’ve genuinely felt wronged by others.”
