CAROL Vorderman showed off her gym-honed abs in a fresh-faced Instagram video.

The age-defying TV star, 61, modelled a black crop top and leggings in the short clip that saw her smiling inside a bathroom.

It comes after Carol celebrated a bumper £660 horse racing win last Saturday.

She managed to catch up with the man who made it happen - by posing for a selfie with champion jockey Frankie Dettori at Ascot.

Vorders put a £20 each-way bet on three horses in the second race last at the British Champions Sprint Stakes.

Her bet on 3-1 favourite Kinross, 150-1 outsider Run To Freedom and 4-1 Creative Force totalled £120.

She was celebrating winning more than five times that a few minutes later when Kinross cruised home under legendary 51-year-old rider Dettori.

But it could have been so much more had Vorderman picked those three horses to finish in that exact order.

If she had put just a quid on the trifecta she would have been celebrating to the tune of £2,700.

Carol wrote alongside a photo of her winning slip: "Boom, Champions Day, second race @Ascot.

"Three bets… came in 1,2,3. Go on Vorders… two from the top and one from wherever you like.

"Bet each-way £120. Winnings £661 gross. Come on, Vorders."

She later posted a selfie with Dettori, titling the snap 'Ascot buddies'.

Horse racing fan Carol used to love watching the gee-gees with her late Countdown co-star Richard Whiteley.

She told the Sun: "Whiters and I were always there. We used to go racing all the time, and let me tell you, Whiters was the biggest party animal you have ever come across.

"Mind you, I wasn't far behind him!"
