Cheryl claims Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini’s ‘unreasonable behaviour’ caused dramatic weight loss as divorce is finalised
CHERYL has blamed the "stress" of being married to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini for causing her drastic weight loss.
The pop star opened up about the troubled union in court papers as their divorce was given the go ahead today, revealing the Frenchman's "unreasonable behaviour" affected her health.
The singer, 33, was granted a 'quickie' divorce from JB this morning to bring their 18-month marriage to an end in a hearing that lasted just 14 seconds.
Paperwork filed as part of the divorce proceedings has now revealed Cheryl blamed her now ex-husband for her shrinking frame.
She claimed the "stress" he put her under impacted her health and caused her to shed weight.
The revelation was made in the district judge's certificate which was issued after the brief hearing.
The paperwork stated: "The marriage having irretrievably broken down, the facts proved being the respondent's unreasonable behaviour."
In one section Cheryl was asked: "If you consider the respondent's behaviour has affected your health, state the effect it has had."
An answer added Cheryl's lawyers revealed: "It caused stress and weight loss."
Neither Cheryl, 33, or JB, 35, attended attended the hearing at the capital's Central Family Court, which gave them the go ahead to dissolve the marriage.
A spokesperson for the singer confirmed the news, explaining: "Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have today obtained Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings.
"No further comment will be made and they ask for their privacy to be respected."

The paperwork means the union will be officially over in six weeks when the Decree Absolute is issued.

Cheryl has not commented on the reports, but she has done little to dispel the growing baby rumours.
Fans are now speculating they will take their relationship to the next level by tying the knot.
