Hollyoaks mourns Jade’s death and it’s especially tough for Alfie who woke up beside her body

The village is in mourning in the wake of Jade’s death, and it falls upon Sonia to start planning her little sister’s funeral.
Alfie has been hit particularly hard after waking up from his idyllic daydream to discover his girlfriend dead by his side.
As his family rallies round him, the teenager sets about the heart-wrenching task of writing a eulogy for Jade, before watching an emotional film she made for him before she died.
Across the village, Jade’s demise resounds heavily at the Lovedays’ as Simone takes pity on Sonia and invites her to stay with them for the night.
Lisa’s annoyed that her mum has any sympathy for the girl who stole her identity, leading to a furious row between mother and daughter.
The next day the villagers gather at the woodland memorial site to say their final farewells to Jade, and hearts break as her bamboo coffin arrives in the back of a campervan.
Sonia’s stunned when her and Jade’s estranged father shows up to act as pallbearer. Poor Alfie, however, is overwhelmed by his grief – will he have the strength to deliver his tribute to Jade?
Back at The Dog, Sonia talks to her father, who has some life-changing news for her – but things soon get back to normal when she and Lisa get into a fight in the village.
And relations hardly improve when Simone blurts out that Sonia is the daughter she wishes Lisa was.
Hurt and angry, Lisa later spies Simone getting into her car after having a few drinks and concocts a diabolical plot…
