THE mother of tragic Cathriona White has claimed to have found proof that Hollywood actor Jim Carrey DID give her girl STDs.
Brigid Sweetman has filed lab results which, she alleges, shows he tested positive for Hepatitis A, Herpes and Chlamydia in 2013.
The Superior Court in Los Angeles yesterday heard that Jim then had sex with his Irish girlfriend “on February 12, within weeks of learning the results”, which were filed under the bogus name Jose Lopez.
Brigid claims the sexually transmitted diseases contributed to Cathriona's decision to end her life in September last year.
The court documents said the Truman Show star, 54, “celebrated Valentine’s Day by having unprotected sex with Ms White without telling her that she was placing her health at risk”.

They went on: “Instead of giving Ms White flowers and chocolates, Carrey should have given her his STD results and refrained from having sex with her.
“Even after doing so, he failed to inform Ms White that he had likely just infected her with STDs. This was not only callous, it was criminal.”
Brigid’s lawyers told how they uncovered the lab results after Carrey repeatedly refused to release them.
In a statement on Thursday, Brigid said: “Carrey has now been shown for what he is — a dishonest celebrity who thinks he can fool people just because he is famous.”
"I am going to make sure that the world learns the truth about what Jim Carrey has done."
The revelations have come to light in the latest twist after Brigid filed a wrongful death lawsuit on the star.
She claims the ";abuse" her daughter, from Tipperary, suffered at the hands of the actor led to her suicide.
She is seeking damages as well as a jury trial and has branded him "pure evil".
Make-up artist Catriona's estranged husband Mark Burton has also hit Jim with a wrongful death lawsuit in the bitter fallout over her death.
Jim has denied giving Cathriona an STD or supplying the 30-year-old with the prescription drugs she is said to have used to take her own life at her home in Los Angeles.
His lawyer last night hit back, saying: “These distortions and false statements do a disservice to Cathriona’s memory.”
Earlier this week he lashed back at Brigid claiming she tried to get him to buy her a new house and said she "loves only money".
He says trolls blamed her for Cathriona’s death due to a “horrific and degrading” Facebook message she left on her daughter’s birthday, before she took her own life.
The actor said Brigid told him she was “on the point of killing herself” and asked him to buy her a house – becoming “angry and bitter” when he refused.
