Shock as Scotty T set to miss the start of Geordie Shore filming with doubts he will ever return to hit MTV show
The reality star won't be returning to the show in November with the rest of the cast
SCOTTY T’s future on Geordie Shore is hanging in the balance after ignoring concerned bosses requests to sort his act out and stop his wild partying.
The Newcastle native, who has appeared on the hit MTV show since series three in 2012, will be absent from filming for the start of series 14 in November - with doubts he'll return at all.
Scotty's unexpected absence comes after The Sun Online revealed MTV bosses had given the reality star one last chance to curb his wild partying after series 13 wrapped in July.
A source tells The Sun Online: "MTV bosses love Scotty, he's the biggest name on the show and a pivotal part of Geordie Shore but they've had to be ruthless to help him.
"There were talks about what to do and how to help him but it's pretty much fallen on deaf ears. For now he won't be joining the rest of the cast, but they hope he will join at some point during the series."
The cast will reunite in Newcastle for six weeks of filming after attending MTV's EMA awards in the Netherlands on November 6.
Instead of taking bosses advice seriously, Scotty has scheduled a series of PA's across Australia while his co-stars move back into the party pad.
The reality star will be promoting his autobiography A Shore Thing as well as hitting the club scene with a host of personal appearances scheduled for Schoolies Week.
Scotty will be pulling in crowds of fans across the East Coast during Australia’s iconic two week celebration for graduating high school students until the end of November.
Scotty confirmed he wouldn't be around for the start of filming in an interview with at the start of October: “I just found out I'm going back to Australia in five weeks.
"Buzzing, this is going to be some epic carnage.”
An source told The Sun Online in July: "It may sound a bit ridiculous that the bosses of Geordie Shore are telling one of their biggest stars to stop partying and become more sensible, but that is what has happened.
“It has got to the point where they feel they can’t rely on him to do his job and they have warned him that if he doesn’t calm down and become more reliable, he won’t be allowed back for the next series.
The source added: “Scotty has gone from a virtual unknown to a huge star in a very short space of time, so it’s understandable that it’s all gone to his head, but he just needs to reassess and calm down a bit.”
Scotty recently told The Sun: “Geordie Shore is nothing compared to what it used to be.
"When I first went on it was mint.
“Like now it’s as if they’re throwing anybody in, and it works for a bit but it’s weird.
“A lot of people now are just wanting to get on Geordie Shore because they think, ‘Oh I’m on Geordie Shore.’"
