The rapper had planned a massive birthday blowout to mark her birthday on October 21, but is now planning something much more low key.
He will however still treat her and has forked out a massive £40,000 on a pair of Ruby Lorraine Schwartz drop earrings he helped design himself.
A source told The Sun Online: “Kanye is devastated he has to cancel – but his family’s security comes first.
“He had gone all out for Kim’s birthday and it was going to be an all expenses sparred event with champagne and canapés.
“Now they will do something very low key instead. He’s made sure he will still spoil her with the stunning one of a kind earrings though – as he doesn’t cut corners when it comes to his missus.”
